An excellent opportunity exists for a dynamic, outstanding primary school teacher to join a talented and committed team who work within a supportive and well resourced school. This post could enable the successful candidate to gain leadership experience within the school as the successful candidate will, ideally, lead Literacy across the school. Assessment expertise and the ability to use data to inform practice are desirable.
Teaching in a school with 43% EAL pupils brings many challenges but also many opportunities and the successful candidate will need to be a hard working, talented and committed staff member.
The school was included in the 'Behaviour Improvement Programme' and still employs both behaviour and learning mentors. The behaviour within the school is good. However, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with pupils with complex needs and often challenging behaviour in order to ensure the continued good behaviour currently enjoyed at the school.
The school's first priority is to appoint the best classroom practitioner, however, Literacy subject specialism and Assessment expertise would be a distinct advantage and this would bring with it the TLR.
